Chautauqua County Jellystone Park™ is located just 8 miles from the National Comedy Center in Jamestown NY. The National Comedy Center Museum features more than 50 exhibits showcasing the history of comedy in the United States from vaudeville to present day comedy. The interactive exhibits at the National Comedy Center are great for kids and adults alike with opportunities to engage in different ways while learning more about the evolution of comedy through the years.

The National Comedy Center was based on a vision from Lucille Ball, a native of Jamestown NY, who wanted her hometown to become a destination for learning more about comedy. It is open 7 days week with later hours on Saturdays. You can get tickets and plan your visit ahead of time or visit at your leisure and get tickets at the door.

The National Comedy Center also features many special events including movie nights throughout the summer, comedy troupe performances, and stand-up comedy acts. One of the venue’s most popular events is the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival. The festival includes special events over five days throughout the city of Jamestown and brings some of comedy’s biggest performers.
