The Kinzua Dam is a man-made wonder located in the Allegheny National Forest along the Allegheny River. The Allegheny Reservoir to which the dam flows into is located in Warren, PA and spans the border between Pennsylvania and New York. One of the largest dams in the United States east of the Mississippi, it’s a site to be seen! Standing at 179 feet and over 1,877 feet wide the Kinzua Dam controls drainage on a watershed of 2,180 square miles.
